What parks and trails are in the area?

The DC Area's extensive network of scenic bike paths are great for getting a workout or just getting to work. WABA is proud to have helped to make many of the paths in this ever-expanding network a reality. Highlights of this network include Virginia's Mount Vernon Trail, DC's Capital Crescent Trail, and Maryland's Anacostia Tributary Trail System. go>>

Where can i donate my bike?

WABA does not take bike donations until March/April when we host our annual Gala Benefit Auction event.  But you can donate used bikes to BIkes For the World all year long. Learn More>>

Clubs and Riding Groups

Looking for more regular, smaller rides with other bike riders like yourself? The greater Washington DC area has plenty of great clubs that have rides scheduled in your area and at your ability level.

Bike Shops

These shops are the backbone of the cycling community. As a WABA member, you receive discounts at most of the area's bike shops. Locally owned and locally operated, they are the best retail option for biking in the Washington Area-and, they support the bicycling community with donations and event sponsorship.
