Completing the CCT & MBT: Regional Conservation Priorities

At an event on Wednesday at Mt. Vernon, the Washington Sustainable Growth Alliance announced its 2011 Regional Conservation Priorities.  Included on the list is the completion of the Capital Crescent Trail and the Metropolitan Branch Trail.  WABA has long been a proponent of the completion of these trails. The CCT is to be completed alongside the Purple Line and continued into Silver Spring, where it will join with the MBT. The Conservation Priorities booklet is available here.
