Those interested in learning about the current status of the Purple Line project in and around Chevy Chase should plan to attend a neighborhood work group meeting hosted by the Maryland Transit Administration this evening. Read the below press release for more information.
Dear Community Member:
You are cordially invited to the Purple Line Neighborhood Work Group meeting for the proposed Connecticut Avenue station at Chevy Chase Lake. The meeting will be held:
Thursday, April 11, 2013
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Town of Chevy Chase, City Hall
4301 Willow Lane
Chevy Chase MD 20815
At this meeting, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Purple Line team will present current plans for this station and the Capital Crescent Trail in this area, as well as answer questions and solicit general feedback. Our hope is to have an informal setting that will allow for an open dialogue about these stations and the surrounding area.
Your input is very important to us and I hope that you will be able to attend this meeting. We look forward to continuing to work with your community throughout the planning and design process.
Thank you for your continued interest and involvement. Please contact us at 443-451-3706 or at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any specific questions about this upcoming meeting or general questions about the Purple Line.
