50 States and 13 Colonies Registration Open to Public Today

Want to ride the 50 States, our notoriously brutal (but fun, and awesome, and rewarding!) course around the entirety of Washington, D.C.’s state streets? Tickets are
on sale to the general public today for the ride, which is on Sat., Sept. 21. We also offer the 13 Colonies ride for those looking for a slower-paced, more relaxed tour of the city.
For more information about the rides, see
this page. To register, go
here.
If you miss your chance to register for the 50 States or 13 Colonies this year, remember that WABA members get early access to registration for our events.
Become a member today to support our advocacy work
and attend our events.
And join us for the afterparty! This year, we’re opening the 50 States afterparty to riders and nonriders alike. We’ll have two floors of
Mellow Mushroom reserved for feting the 50 States riders. Join us and
New Belgium Brewing from 2-6 p.m. on Sept. 21 for beer and food specials.
Want to volunteer for the 50 States and 13 Colonies? If you’re a confident cyclist who has experience riding long routes (60-plus miles for 50 States or 15-plus miles for 13 Colonies),
consider marshaling! We also
need help at the ride start, its four pit stops, and the afterparty.
