Team WABA Begins the NYC-D.C. Climate Ride Tomorrow

Tomorrow, WABA’s development coordinator Gina Arlotto will begin the
Climate Ride, a five-day charity ride from New York City to D.C. Gina is leading Team WABA, a group of riders contributing 100 percent of their fundraising to support our advocacy work. The 300-mile route takes Team WABA and other Climate Riders from Brooklyn to D.C., through Amish country and Maryland horse farms. The Climate Ride ends in our hometown, on Capitol Hill. Check out an estimated map of the route
here.
Team WABA is still working tirelessly to reach its goal of $50,000. You can donate today, helping us fund a new round of important bike-advocacy initiatives. Gina’s fundraising page can be found
here.
Consider joining Team WABA on the last leg of its journey. Next Wednesday, pick up the Climate Ride at Thompson’s Boathouse at 3 p.m. and finish with the 205 fundraising riders in Capitol Hill. Get more details on celebrating the riders’ final leg
here.
Many thanks to those who have supported Team WABA so far!
