Saturday Morning Wake Up Community Ride – Alexandria

Shake up your Saturday morning routine with WABA as we ride through the streets and trails of Northern Alexandria! This 6.5 mile ride will take you along the Four Mile Run trail and through the Shirlington, North Ridge and Del Ray neighborhoods. We’ll stop at Nectar Coffee and Wine Bistro for a quick pick me up before cruising on back to Four Mile Run Park Plaza.
This ride is family-friendly but does include on-street riding and a number of hills. Experienced kiddos welcome!
Community Rides are a fun, friendly and low-stress way to experience bike routes and trails throughout the region. Our rides are an inclusive space for riders of all experience levels to get out, have fun and ask questions. Ride Duration: 2 hours
Equipment: Participants are required to bring their own bicycle and helmet for Community Rides. Bikes must be in good working order. Use a Capital Bikeshare bike and WABA will reimburse your usage fee for the duration of the class! Email email@example.com for more details.

Registration Policy: Advance registration is preferred to secure your spot. Drop-ins are free (if space is available)! Be sure to show up for the ride 15 minutes before start time.

Parking is available at this location off of Mt. Vernon Avenue, either at the Four Mile Run Field Parking Lot or on adjacent side streets.
Go multi-modal! The bus stop at the Plaza is served by buses 10A, 10B, 10E, 23A, and 23B. Not sure how to get your bike on a bus, check out our post on going multi-modal for tips and tricks.
Four Mile Run Park is right off of Four Mile Run Trail and the Four Mile Run Park Trail, accessible via the Mount Vernon Trail. There is a Capital Bikeshare station at the plaza.
