Farmers Market Bike Clinics

Washington, DC

Coming from backgrounds in public health, and bike advocacy; we found that one of the biggest barriers to cycling is the kind of basic repair that can be done in a few minutes. In order to get more people riding in our already bike-friendly city we started offering free bike repairs at local farmers markets.

Through simple, independent, weekly events we can reach the greatest number and diversity of riders and possible riders. We are able to reach more people and help them by Providing information, simple repairs and connecting them with the support services available to DC residents. Each clinic is freestanding and independent, staffed by your neighbors, and tailored to the neighborhood. Come out to the market and join the community.
