We are again approaching the first Tuesday of the month (May) and you can sign up now for our May 5 ride with WABA on the Old Georgetown Road protected bike lanes, from Executive Boulevard to Cedar Lane. We’ll meet at the NW corner of Old Georgetown Road and Executive Boulevard at 8:30am. These monthly rides are a great opportunity to demonstrate support for these lanes which have literally saved lives by making the sidewalk and the road safe for all those walking, biking and accessing transit on this state highway. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful and Spring-like, so sign-up if you are interested.
That same day, May 5, we will also do a Happy Hour at World of Beer in Bethesda (7200 Wisconsin Avenue, entrance off the Bethesda Avenue cycle track). Come between 5:00-7:00pm.
At 6:00pm, we will have two key Maryland legislators, Marc Korman, Chair of the MD House Environment & Transportation Committee and Senator Sara Love, who is on the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee, discuss what happened in the 2026 Maryland legislative session that just concluded.
By registering for this event you agree to follow WABA's Code of Conduct.
