Whether you already bike with your family or are curious about getting started, if you want to test ride some bikes, or if you’re looking for a fun afternoon with your kids, join us at the Montgomery County Family Bike Festival!
Come learn more about family biking. Share your own approach to this joyous activity. Bring kids for fun activities and bike safety reminders. It will be a great time for everyone — all are welcome!
You can expect:
- Test Rides of ebikes and cargo bikes on protected lanes around the Town Center (Mount Airy Bikes, Bethesda Bike and Ski, Trek, Pedego, College Park Bikes and more)
- Bike Decorating table
- A Balance Bike Parade
- Bike safety checks provided by the Rockville Bike Hub
- Free kids bike helmets and bike light giveaways (as long as supply lasts!)
- Expertise and advice on family biking from local advocates
- More useful info from State, County and City agencies
- Other kid friendly activities
