DC Family Bike Fest 2026

You’re invited! Calling all kids on bikes, families who bike and folks who are bike curious. All are welcome at our BIG annual celebration. 

Connect with other families, meet local shops and orgs, check out lots of different bikes and setups and have fun together!

Featuring neighborhood bike rides, Kids Bike Parade, library storytime, learn to ride workshop, demos, test rides, gear swap, BIG raffle prizes, food trucks and lots more. 

And as always – free sno cones 🍧and free bike checkups 👩‍🔧for all 🥰

Help Spread The Word

Share information about DC Family Bike Fest with your friends, neighbors and school community! Can be completed in person or online – we’ll provide materials for you to post and share. Earn free giveaway entries for volunteering!

Volunteer At The Fest

Two-hour shifts helping with your choice of Gear Swap Table, Learn To Ride clinic, safety check station, giveaway prize booth, setup/cleanup, social media and more. Earn free giveaway entries for volunteering! Teen volunteers are also welcome and can earn community service hours.

Volunteer Ride Marshal 

Help lead WABA’s group ride from Lincoln Park to DC Family Bike Fest at Alethia Tanner Park! Ride meets at Lincoln Park at 9:45 with wheels up at 10am.
