Mulberry Ride

We will be doing basic plant identification along the DC loop of Anacostia River Trail stopping at the invasive mulberry trees on the way and harvesting the fruit or removing fallen fruit from the trail. This ride will share with participants how to identify and manage invasive mulberry trees. The fallen fruit poses significant safety issues for cyclists and pedestrians so we will be removing rotting fruit.
