Join us for the upcoming “Pedal to the Polls” community ride taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM in Bowie, Maryland.

Hosted at Jafe Cycling Bicycle Shop, this event is designed to bring together community members, cyclists, and local leaders for a social-paced bicycle ride focused on highlighting transportation and road infrastructure throughout our area. The event also serves as an opportunity to encourage civic engagement and community connection during the election season.

We encourage you to join us to:

Meet and engage with members of the local cycling community
Discuss transportation, safety, and infrastructure initiatives
Participate in the ride alongside fellow community members
Cast a vote in the Prince George’s County primary elections

Participants will also have the opportunity to vote, receive an event sticker, and return to the shop for post-ride community engagement.

During election seasons, WABA invites all candidates for office to complete surveys about their views on transportation, which we share on our website. We also host candidate forums in some races to allow members of the public to meet candidates and ask questions about biking and transportation.
