Santa on the Trail

Join Santa Claus and the DC Trail Rangers for a day of fun on the Anacostia River Trail! In addition to Santa and his sleigh, there will also be hot chocolate and other winter treats to enjoy. After hot chocolate, the Trail Rangers will lead event attendees on a short bike ride down the trail to clean up the trail a bit and spread holiday cheer. The group will then return to the starting location at The Fields at RFK. 

This event is open to all ages. If you are going to participate in the bike ride, please make sure to bring a helmet with you! If you need to borrow a Capital Bikeshare or a helmet, please email trailranger@waba.org.

If you cannot make it to this event and still want to meet Santa, you can find Santa again on Thursday December 18 at the Trail Ranger’s monthly Met Branch Trail Coffee Hour (7:30-9:30am, by the corner of 4th St NE and S St NE)!
