This is a casual, at your own pace ride between two local makers who have been declared exceptional at what they do. Double bonus, they both support WABA by being business members. Click the links to read about Filter and Baked by Yael in Washingtonian and the Washington Post respectively:

We will meet at Filter and take the 20th Street NW bike lanes to P Street NW. Left on P to the path down to the Rock Creek Park Trail just after we cross over Rock Creek Parkway. North on the trail to the hill past the outdoor gym and up to Woodley Park where we will turn left on Calvert to avoid Connecticut Ave (since it still needs bike lanes). Right off Calvert onto 29th St NW and then a quick Right/Left on Cathedral and 28th to come down Cortland and Devonshire to Connecticut where we will take the sidewalk the last little bit to bagels (or cake pops – no judgement here) at Baked by Yael.
Plan accordingly for your own pace and fueling needs. Our goal is to bring WABA members together to help them meet similar riders and enjoy an event of interest in the metro area together. Look for more pop-up rides in the months to come. Feel free to send suggestions too: events@waba.org
