W&OD Trail Walk & Talk

Join the Capital Trails Coalition, WABA, Friends of the W&OD Trail, NOVA Parks staff, and community trail advocates for a conversational tour along the venerable W&OD Trail in honor of National Trails Day. We’ll walk (and roll) from East Falls Church Metro with stops to talk about the upcoming trail widening effort in Arlington and trail issues in general. Part site visit, part advocacy forum, part excuse to spend a little time out on a local trail! Let us know you’re coming by registering below.

Note that this is a semi-public event aimed at trail development stakeholders. We encourage you to circulate within your network(s) or group(s) but please refrain from wider public distribution.

>>When: Saturday, June 3rd from 10AM-noon

>>Where: Meetup at basketball court on N Sycamore Street in Arlington, across/south from East Falls Church Metro (see below)

>>What: We’ll depart from the basketball court and walk east to the juncture with the Custis Trail; those bicycling are welcome to ride further before circling back to the juncture with the Custis Trail
