Introducing Beth, WABA’s new Education Program Coordinator!
Hi! My name is Beth Donahue and I am delighted to be the new Education Program Coordinator at WABA.
I’ve enjoyed the good fortune of many different careers – IT manager, Realtor, children’s fitness instructor just to name a few. In recent years I’ve focused on positions where I can share my love of the outdoors, specifically cycling, in a variety of capacities. I’ve worked at Phoenix Bikes as an Youth Instructor, led Bike Tours in Washington DC , and coached bike skills classes with Girls in Gear. I am excited to use many of these skills and experiences to help lead the education programs at WABA.
When not on a bike, (but usually with a bike!) I love to travel and explore new places. Hiking and biking vacations are at the top of my bucket list, along with train trips and RV adventures. At home I enjoy cooking & baking, reading and knitting….not all at the same time though! I am the Mom of two mostly grown people, Ryan and Kelsey, but please don’t let them know the real loves of my life are my two beagles, Maddie and Cooper.
