10 Year Pedalversary Joyride with Women & Bicycles

Women & Bicycles has been a beloved program of many since it’s inception in 2013. We have been lucky to host many fun events including coffee meetups, book clubs, Hains Point 100, winter riding workshops, and so much more over the years! What better way to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together over these last ten years than with a joy ride?!

This beginner-friendly 10 mile bike ride will start at Colada Shop (10 Pearl St SW, Washington, DC 20024), have a quick half-way point stop at Eastern Market, and then loop back to Colada Shop for a coffee hang out. This is a no drop ride and we’ll be biking at a leisurely pace. Please be sure to bring water and dress in layers and comfortable shoes to accommodate the fall weather. Due to our insurance, helmets are required for the duration of the ride. If you need a helmet please reach out to womenandbicycles@waba.org.

This ride is open to women, trans, femme, and non-binary folks. If that’s not you we have plenty of other events that you can check out at waba.org/fun. Parking is limited so we suggest arriving by bike, bus (52, 74, and Eastern Market- LEnfant Plaza Circulator), or metro (Waterfront Metro station 0.5 miles away).
