Montgomery County Bike Advocate Meetup

It’s spring, so we’re due for WABA’s first Montgomery County bicycling advocates meetup. We’ll get together Wednesday, April 17, 5 pm to 7 pm at Hakuna Matata Grill in Wheaton. If the weather’s good, we’ll be outside. Just amble over from the Wheaton Metro station or ride the Amherst Avenue Bikeway route or find your way over some other way; come by at any time. Appetizers will be on WABA; buy your own beverages.

This will be informal social time for bicycling advocates and friends, but we’ll take a few minutes to update you on WABA activities, with a special focus on Wheaton. We expect to be joined by several state and county officials, so come prepared – if you wish – to talk about your bikeway, road safety, and county budget priorities. 

All are welcome. See you April 17, we hope, and stay tuned for other 2024 advocates meetups in Kensington, Takoma Park, and other Montgomery County locations.
