Join us on Tuesday, May 14th at 6pm for a virtual forum with the candidates running for Ward 7. Click Here to Register.

Knowing and supporting the people who represent us is an essential piece of the transportation advocacy puzzle. Accessible, equitable, and sustainable transportation infrastructure is a need that all DC residents share, and we want our elected officials to have a strong vision of what the future of transportation in DC looks like.

To that end, WABA, Friends of DC Streetcar, Marshall Heights Community Development Organization are cohosting, with support from the Capitol Civic Association, Dupont Park Civic Association, East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, ElectedDC, National Coalition of 100 Black Women Metropolitan Washington DC Chapter 9, Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church, Penn Branch Civic Association, Ward 7 Education Council, WABA, and the Washington Interfaith Network.

The forum will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, May 14th from 6pm-7:30pm. The candidates will discuss transportation infrastructure, environmental, and housing issues in Ward 7. If you’d like to participate, sign up, please use the button below.

This event is for you, the voters, to get information and interact with the candidates. WABA does not endorse any political candidates and all candidates who are on the ballot are invited to participate.
