Ride
Join the DC Trail Rangers for a fun, family friendly bike ride along the Anacostia River Trail to kick off Kingman Island Friends and Family Day! This bike ride will be at a slow, conversational pace and take place entirely on paved trails. The ride will start at the entrance to Kingman and Heritage Islands, continue north to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, and then return back to the starting location. After the ride, attendees are encouraged to venture onwards to Kingman and Heritage Islands to explore the islands and take part in free Friends and Family Day activities such as yoga and tree identification walking tours. We hope you will join us for a beautiful autumn bike ride on the trail!
Location: Entrance to Kingman and Heritage Islands, on the west bank of the Anacostia River Trail, closest street address is 575 Oklahoma Ave NE
