WABA staff members and DC traffic safety experts will be present at the Walk & Learn to discuss best practices related to safe driving and sharing the road with vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and bicyclists. The walk and learn will also be a great time to review the new driving laws in DC with traffic safety experts. We will discuss how to incorporate these practices into the curriculum to ensure students can drive safely on the road with other vulnerable users.
Participating instructors will receive a gift card and a WABA certificate of completion to show clients and students that they have completed the WABA training on driver best practices for sharing the road with vulnerable road users.
