Webinar: Making Street Art in DC

Join the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, the Department of Public Works, Chalk Riot, and the District Department of Transportation for an exciting discussion about street art in DC! Come learn about the ways the DC government, local organizations, artists, and residents work together to create vibrant art throughout DC’s neighborhood streets! We will feature examples of community-informed design, discuss how residents can be involved in the art-making process, and highlight how street art contributes to traffic safety and placemaking. 

Featured panelists include:

  • Chelsea Ritter-Soronen, Chalk Riot
  • Kimberly Vacca, District Department of Transportation

This event is a virtual webinar. Our featured panelists will give 10-minute presentations followed by a Q&A session. The webinar will take place on June 25 at 3 PM. Please register to receive the Zoom webinar link.
